Hey Cruisers, We're always on the lookout for great cruise resources, tips, cruise websites, and other ways to squeeze every little bit of vacation goodness out of cruising. We feel like the more information you have, the better the experience will be. If you’ve watched some of our previous videos you’ve probably heard us say something like “Know your ship before you cruise”, These days, with all the great cruise websites and apps out there it’s pretty easy, and even fun to do. There are Today we’re going to look at a great website for cruises, and answer the question "what is a good website for cruises." It's an easy cruise website, it has perhaps the best cruise website forum. We are of course talking about cruiseline.com It's a really a terrific place to start planning your cruise vacation. The site is designed to de-mystify the process, and to help you to make a subjective and unbiased decision on which cruise line and ship are right for you. Oh, before I get started, I should say we're not affiliated with them, and they are not compensating us for this video. We just think It’s just a great resource and wanted to share with our awesome subscribers … you know who you are. So let's take this baby for a spin! When I see this site, what strikes me is how uncluttered It is. It’s surprisingly easy for me to find what I’m looking for. That’s a huge deal for me. I love doing cruise research, but I don’t love wasting time. So, Why do we like it? There are 4 features we dig about this site: #1- Cruise Reviews They have a giant collection of verified cruise reviews, so users can trust the reviews they read to be unbiased and straightforward. Not only can you check out cruise ship reviews, but you can also see port and cabin reviews. To check it out, click on reviews, choose your cruise line, and ship, and you’re in! While you’re checking out the reviews, you can also find the photo library for that particular ship. Pretty cool. #2-Cruise Search (a great cruise finder website) I like the super-simple interface of their cruise search too. It works quickly and it’s easy for someone like me who is impatient and usually running short on time. As you can See, it’s as easy as 1,2,3,4. #3- Price Alert Once you’ve chosen a cruise, there’s this nifty feature, “Price Alert”. You can click here to set a price alert, for free, on the cruise of your choice. You simply pop your email address here, and If the price drops, you’ll get an email. #4 – last but not least, Cruise Genius Now, the last feature is the one that really drew me in…this is my favorite part of the site, and it’s hard to resist trying it out…. It’s called Cruise Genius. It’s designed for people who don't know where to start, and even an experienced cruiser will enjoy plugging in their cruise preferences and seeing what the genius comes up with. You start by typing in the city you live in, although it will most likely default to what your computer considers closest to you, then you select some things you might enjoy doing in port, choose two ship features that matter most to you, pick the duration of your cruise, then the price range, and lastly the month and year you’d like to cruise. And voila, cruise genius gives you a list of choices. Let us know if you like this video and perhaps we'll do more cruise website reviews.
