February 26, 2026: Turkish Naval Ships visit Port of Rotterdam

English: Four Turkish naval vessels visited the Port of Rotterdam. The helicopter carrier TCG Anadolu and the frigates TCG Istanbul and TCG Oruçreis moored at the Wilhelminakade in the center of Rotterdam. The supply ship TCG Deria found its berth in the Waalhaven. This flotilla is contributing to a large-scale NATO exercise in which 13 NATO countries are participating. In addition to the navy, ground forces and the air force are also playing a role. Logistics, strategy, and communication play a major role in this large-scale exercise, with the aim of being able to respond quickly in a crisis situation.
