Starting off the new cruise season in Southampton with the same three Ships that ended the 2018 season on Thursday 3rd January 2019. - The first to depart was P&O Cruises' "Oceana" from the Queen Elizabeth II Cruise Terminal at 16:35 heading off on a 7-night cruise to Belgium, France and The Netherlands. This was her penultimate departure from Southampton before she relocates to Dubai. - The second to depart was CUNARD's "Queen Elizabeth" from the City Cruise Terminal at 17:44 heading off on a 38-night repositioning voyage to Melbourne, Australia. She will then slowly make her way back to the UK via Japan, Alaska and the United States before returning to Southampton in August. Her departure was proceeded by a fireworks display. - The final ship to depart was P&O Cruises' "Aurora" from the Mayflower Cruise Terminal at 18:00 heading off on a 55-night voyage to the Amazon, Caribbean and Central America before returning to Southampton at the end of February.
