It has been a very busy and hectic past few days recently in the Port of Southampton which is the UK's Premier Cruise Port in seeing the departure of 4 cruise ships on the 27/10/17 with 2 on the 28/10/17 plus another 5 on 29/10/17 with the Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship "Independence of The Seas", Fred Olsen Cruise Line Ship the "Balmoral" & P&O Cruise Ships the "Ventura", "Aurora" & "Oceana" making a grand total of 11 cruise ships. This departure day the 29/10/17 for the 5 cruise ships the conditions were perfect for watching & making this video. 1st. To make her departure from the City Cruise Terminal was the Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship the "Independence of The Seas" at 16:22pm for a 15 Night Caribbean Translantic Cruise to the Caribbean then onto Fort Lauderdale in Florida where she will then commence cruising for the winter and will be returning back to British waters on the 15th May 2018. But before she returns back to Southampton she is having a multi-million pound makeover. She will have lots of new additions including the interactive aqua park Splashaway Bay, new waterslides, An Escape Room, top deck trampolines and a Japanese restaurant Izumi. 2nd. To make her departure from the 102 berth was the Fred Olsen Cruise Line Ship the "Balmoral" at 16:45pm for a 32 Nights A Caribbean Discovery Cruise but first she sailed up to the Upper Swinging Ground by the Container Terminal to turn around as she was moored starboard side, she appears a bit later in this video passing Town Quay as she took some length of time to turn and head back down towards Town Quay. Her first port of call on her cruise is Lisbon in Portugal. 3rd. To make her departure was the P&O Cruises Ship the "Aurora" from the QEII Cruise Terminal immediately following the passing of the "Independence of The Seas" at 16:46pm for a 12 Night Iberia Cruise. Her first port of call on her cruise is Lisbon in Portugal. 4th. To make her departure from the Ocean Cruise Terminal was P&O Cruises Ship the "Oceana" at 16:58pm for 10 Night Spain & Portugal Cruises she is a welcome return & nice to see her in Southampton once again and will undertake a further 4 more cruises before the the end of 2017 by the way she has not been in Southampton for quite sometime. Her first port of call on her cruise is La Coruna in Spain. 5th. And the last to make her departure altho rather later than scheduled was the P&O Cruises Ship the "Ventura" at 17:22pm from the Mayflower Cruise Terminal for a 12 Night Canary Islands & Portugal Cruise. Her first port of call on her cruise is Lisbon in Portugal.
