This Fearless Rambler adventure shows how to skip the expensive excursions and still have an amazing time! We arrived in Cabo on the Carnival Firenze and headed out on a DIY beach day to Playa El Corsario (The Cannery Beach)—just a quick 5-minute walk from the marina. No tours. No crowds. Just a simple plan and a great day. Along the way, we made an unexpected stop at a local boat ramp… where we fed a sea lion using fish from a local fisherman—definitely not your typical cruise excursion! At the beach, we rented a $20 umbrella (and trust me—you’ll want shade out here), then jumped into the water for some FREE snorkeling using our own gear. Swimming through schools of fish, spotting surgeonfish along the rocks, and even exploring around the bend toward Playa Coral Negro—this turned into one of the best low-cost adventures in Cabo. After a full day in the water, we made it back to the ship just in time for dinner at Il Viaggio, where we topped it all off with an incredible Grigliata Mista di Pesce seafood platter—the perfect ending to an epic day.
