Somewhere out here… someone might hear my songs. I wrote I Would Do Anything during a time when my band and I were living on the road. Seven months a year… vans, hotel rooms, and the couches of bands we met along the way. Driving hundreds of miles a day, and playing a new city every night. We were all in. I wanted my songs to take me around the world… and to connect with people the way music from Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Linkin Park, John Mayer, Matchbox Twenty, The Beatles, and Backstreet Boys connected with me. This song is about that feeling— wanting to give everything you have, even when you’re not sure it’ll be enough. Somehow, I did end up traveling the world.
