If you're planning a trip to Ireland, this is a must-see for fans of the Seven Kingdoms! The Game of Thrones Studio Tour is in Banbridge, Northern Ireland on the main road between Belfast and Dublin. Northern Ireland served as the primary filming location for Game of Thrones, so it's the natural place for this incredible visitor attraction. The main Game of Thrones studio was at the Paint Hall in Belfast but Linen Mill Studios in Banbridge was used for many of the larger sets. After the series ended, they converted it into this amazing visitor attraction showcasing how Game of Thrones was brought to life. Parking for the Game of Thrones Studio Tour is conveniently located at The Boulevard in Banbridge, just off the main route between Dublin and Belfast, making it easy to get to from all over Ireland. There's a shuttle bus from there to take you directly to the Studio Tour entrance. This interactive visitor experience takes you on a journey through the making of the TV show, bringing you right into Westeros, the Seven Kingdoms and the world of Game of Thrones. You'll see incredible sets, original props, costumes and learn about the visual and special effects used to create the epic series. We loved seeing the Hall of Faces and the Armoury!
