Welcome to our Giant's Causeway & Game of Thrones Filming Locations Vlog! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁮󠁧󠁿 In this video we're exploring Northern Ireland's incredible Causeway Coast. If you're planning a trip and love stunning scenery and epic fantasy, this vlog is for you! We took a day trip to the Causeway Coast in North Antrim specifically to visit the Giant's Causeway, one of Northern Ireland's top tourist attractions and a UNESCO World Heritage site. There's a great visitor centre telling you about the formation of the Giant's Causeway and the Causeway Coast itself. As you can see from our visit, Northern Ireland has some truly stunning scenery which is why it was chosen as the main filming location for Game of Thrones! We visited two iconic filming locations: Ballintoy Harbour, the filming location for the Iron Islands (home of the Greyjoys) and the Dark Hedges, the hauntingly beautiful location for the Kings Road. We also stopped by the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, although unfortunately it was closed during our visit. We really enjoyed our day exploring the Giant's Causeway and the Game of Thrones filming locations in Ballintoy Harbour and the Dark Hedges!
