Glenwood Springs Colorado Glenwood Springs is known for its therapeutic Hot Springs Pools situated in the picturesque Colorado mountains. It offers easy access just off 1-70, three hours drive west of Denver, 90 minutes from Grand Junction and 60 minutes from Vail or Aspen. The hot springs are popular with international travelers, skiers and locals alike. Two popular Hot Springs venues featured in this video are very different from each other. Try them both! Glenwood Hot Springs Pool Claiming the title as the world’s largest hot springs pool, it originally opened in 1888 and offers 1 very large pool, 1 large hot tub and a seasonal water slide. Additional pools are in the works and plan to open in 2024. Two food venues on-sight (seasonal). Check website for open amenities, hours and price. 2. Iron Mountain Hot Springs- Offers access to 30+ “hot tub” pools and several lap size pools. The WorldSprings Pools are adult only and mimic temperature and mineral content of the most notable mineral pools from around the world and offers views of the Arkansas River from the pools.
