Grand Haven: THIS PLACE IS SUMMER!! (RV Road Trip)

There is something about the Great Lakes during summer… and Grand Haven on Lake Michigan literally screams SUMMER!! There is a great beach with hundreds enjoying the cool water, there is a lighthouse on a long pier with people jumping off into the lake, there are boats everywhere!! This is also Coast Guard City and we were there for the opening of the annual festival which kicked off with a great Queen cover band. We had such a great time walking down the boardwalk, people watching and listening to some great music. There is a campground on the beach but this place was well booked up because of the festival. But we found a much nicer campground in town right on the Grand River called Eastpointe RV Resort.
