Carnival Mardi Gras - The best beach in Grand Turk that's walking distance from the cruise ship is Jack’s Shack. This beach area has very few rocks and stones in the water. The beaches right off the ship can be unenjoyable because of all the rocks in the water. When we returned to the ship we were faced with a surprising long line due to a surprise drug sniffing dog check on the pier. Pot smokers beware.
