GREAT DAY FOR 5 CRUISE SHIP DEPARTURE & HORN EXCHANGES SOUTHAMPTON 24/04/25

On Thursday 24th April 25 was a great day for watching five cruise ships depart from Southampton on a lovely sunny day from Town Quay and Mayflower Park. First to depart earlier in the day was Princess Cruises 'Regal Princess' from the Ocean Cruise Terminal at approx 12:45pm for Rotterdam where she will be having her refit and refurbishment carried out. Later in the same afternoon was the departure of the Celebrity Cruises 'Celebrity Apex' from the Horizon Cruise Terminal just before 16:00pm for Zeebrugge and she was followed out by the Fred Olsen Cruise Lines 'Balmoral' just before 16:40pm from the City Cruise Terminal for Hamburg, then after her was the P&O Cruises 'Aurora' leaving from the Mayflower Cruise Terminal just after 17:00pm for Haugesund Norway, she recently had a refit and refurbishment done. After 'Aurora' was the Holland America Line Cruise ship 'Rotterdam she is a 2021 build and this is I believe was her first call to Southampton she departed from the QEII Cruise Terminal at 18:15pm for Zeebrugge.
