Greek Isle Tour Day 4, Twin Cities Live - Ephesus, Turkey

It's our second port stop on our Greek Isles cruise and we're spending the day in Turkey! We ported in Kusadasi, and we had an exclusive tour put together for us by Carrousel Travel. Most of our day would be spent in Ephesus and our first stop was visiting the home of the Virgin Mary. The home was where she spent the last 8 years of her life. Our second stop was checking out the ruins of Ephesus, we spent 90 minutes exploring the ruins of this ancient city. The ruins were fascinating, especially what remained of the library. We made our way to our third stop, St. John's Basilica. At one time, St. John was entombed at this location but was later moved to the Vatican. We ended our day having a delicious lunch at a local resort and making our way back to Kusadasi, where we were given a demonstration on hand-woven carpet making and treated to some Turkish hospitality with a sample of beverages. Back onboard the Infinity, we spent some time at the pool before heading to dinner at the buffet.
