Helicopters Can Land On Cruise Ships For Medical Emergencies

every cruise ship I've ever worked on has had a helicopter pad and on this ship it's absolutely massive it takes up the entire front of the ship

it's right above the crew bar which is a bummer cuz if there's an emergency and we need to use it the whole bar shuts down

the helicopter pad ends up just being a place where crew hang out the ship I'm on didn't put any seating up here though

all these windows are Guest State rooms so if you ever want a first class ticket into seeing what goes on in a crew only area this is probably your best bet
