Sailing through the stunning Oslofjord aboard Holland America Line’s MS Rotterdam was the perfect start to our day in Norway’s capital city 🇳🇴. The bow opened for passengers, giving us breathtaking panoramic views as we glided past scenic islands and fjordside homes — a must-see moment for any cruiser! Once docked, we hopped on a Hop-On Hop-Off tour to explore three of Oslo’s top attractions: 🏰 The Royal Palace – where we strolled through the beautiful grounds and admired the architecture. 🚢 The Fram Museum – home to the legendary Arctic exploration ship Fram, where we stepped aboard and learned about Norway’s polar history. There are a few areas worth a entertaining comparison to the modern cruise ship we had just stepped off of. 🕊️ The Nobel Peace Center – a fascinating stop celebrating global peace efforts and the stories behind the Nobel Prize. Back on board the MS Rotterdam, we enjoyed dinner in the Main Dining Room with incredible views as the ship sailed out of Oslo at sunset 🌅. The evening continued with live music and entertainment at B.B. King’s Blues Club, and we ended the night relaxing on our balcony, taking in the golden glow of Norway’s late-summer sky.
