Honolulu Zoo Highlights

The Honolulu Zoo was just a few minutes' walk from our hotel, the Hyatt Regency Waikiki. We discovered it was a little less expensive to buy a family membership before arriving, so we did. This gave us a special entrance to the Zoo and a discount on food and merchandise. The zoo isn't huge, but it is sandwiched within a very busy area of Honolulu. Beyond the animals you can see Waikiki and also Diamond Head. We saw several animals we hadn't seen before and enjoyed our time. These are just a few clips from the zoo. We arrived in Hawaii with a full day before we began our Cruisetour with Norwegian Cruise Line's Pride of America. It was great to be able to settle in and check out local shops and restaurants.
