About our Bacon Score methodology
YouTube Video Description↓

Let's run a little test... Join me in this video as I do an internet speed test at sea onboard P&O's Pacific Adventure. Looking for your next P&O cruise? Check out our Cruise Planner here: https://book.swblack.com.au/swift/cruise?siid=1154401&searchcruise=1&lang=7&cruiseline=8114&destinationtype=All This video was shot on the balcony of my cabin on the second sea day of the cruise. The cruise was heading to New Caledonia so the location during filming was somewhere in the Pacific Ocean. There was nothing special about my internet... it was simply a 3-device package purchased prior to getting on the cruise. P&O use Starlink as their internet provider (read more here: https://blog.swblack.com.au/po-cruises-internet-options) which means that internet speeds can vary depending on location of the ship, location of satellites, weather conditions etc. The speeds achieved in this video was a snapshot taken and shouldn't be relied upon as being indicative of your internet throughout your entire cruise. I certainly experienced faster speeds and, at times, slower speeds. Drop outs were few but they did occur.
