Cheers to the first weekend of 2025! How’s it going y’all?! How are y’all doing?! Me, honestly, I’ve been soaking in family time, devotional time, and reflecting… and I like it. I had been constantly editing and cranking out vlogs… it feels like for months… and I actually paused - again - and like it. Y’all know I’ve paused before, but usually for long stretches. This time hasn’t been like that. I actually love creating… I just don’t love the burnout… and above all the content I create, I love God and my family more, so I not only want the content to reflect that, but my real life too because real life always wins over content. Anyhoo… in this mini-break, for the first time since April 2024, I did not post video content on YouTube this Wednesday, and that felt hard… I’ve been consistently pushing out content on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays over there for 8 months+… and now, I took a break? Working on a better balance to scheduling my weekly content in the midst of basking in devotional time with God and this relaxed family time at home, ‘cause truth be told, my devotional and family time was suffering. Next week is the first full week of the school and work commute again, but I know this mindset and practice that I’m working on can withstand even that. God’s got me.
