YouTube Video Description

Hello Friends! This is Ray and Welcome back to the Port of Indecision Channel. Chances are the reason that you’ve selected this episode is that you are facing the same question and decision of whether the Hubbard Glacier & Wilderness Exploration Tour is worth the money? Patti and I were presented with this conundrum back in May of 2024 because at that time it was going to be close to $850 for the two of us to take this excursion. Now if you have been or are planning to go to Alaska, you’ve learned that excursions in this part of the world are much more expensive than say the Caribbean, but given the equipment, season, and experience it is understandable. We started to watch some YouTube videos to try and determine how much closer could we get to Hubbard Glacier on the smaller boat and was it worth it for $850. As I am producing this video, I’ve seen online that the prices range from $300 to $500 per person depending upon the cruise line or day of the week and what is amazing is that this excursion sells out fast! It was so difficult to determine from the videos whether the smaller boat got much closer to the glacier and would it be worth it. Patti put a post out on one of the Celebrity Alaska groups to get other people’s opinions. She received a fantastic response and everyone who had done the Hubbard Glacier & Wilderness Exploration Tour loved it and said it was worth the price and experience. The one odd finding is the person who said it wasn’t worth the money admitted she had never gone on the excursion and she was just sharing her opinion. Thank you for watching the video and I hope that it has helped you to reach a decision on whether or not to join in on the excursion. Please give the video a thumbs up if you liked it and leave your comments as to how you decided on the excursion. I'd also invite you to subscribe to the Port of Indecision channel as I will continue posting videos from our Alaska journey. Safe Travels!
