According to this major cruise update, the cruise line can require guests to show proof of vaccination before boarding a cruise ship in Florida. This injunction means the cruise line, at least for now, can require cruisers to show a vaccine card before boarding a Norwegian Cruise Line cruise ship in Florida. This lawsuit was brought against the state of Florida after the Governor signed an executive order making it illegal for company's to require proof of vaccination to receive services. The executive leadership of Norwegian Cruise Line Holding, and state officials, have exchanged jabs regarding the cruise line's plans to have 100% fully vaccinated cruises. Well, the Norwegian Cruise Line has won, for now, with this recent ruling. Still, it is only a temporary pause on the Florida law. The governor's office can appeal, and there is a future date set for additional rulings related to this current standing.
