I Ditched My Family for a Solo Cruise | Royal Caribbean Liberty of the Seas | Embarkation Day

This week we're kicking off a brand-new adventure and doing something we've never done before... 🚢 A TRUE SOLO CRUISE. I've cruised without Dee before, but I was always traveling with a large group of friends. This time, I left my wife at home with both of our kids, PJ and Laiah, while I headed to South Florida completely alone for a 3-night sailing aboard the beautiful Liberty of the Seas. The mission? To experience two of Royal Caribbean's most talked-about destinations: 🏝️ Perfect Day at CocoCay 🏖️ The brand-new Royal Beach Club experience in The Bahamas. But before any of that could happen, I had to survive embarkation day. My day started at 3 AM as I flew out from Texas the morning of the cruise. Flying in the same day isn't always recommended, but thankfully everything went according to plan and I made it to the port with plenty of time to spare. In this vlog, I share what it's really like to cruise completely by yourself. From checking in and boarding the ship, to exploring my stateroom and navigating embarkation day without my family, you'll get an honest look at solo cruising on Royal Caribbean. At first, I have to admit... I felt a little guilty leaving Dee at home with PJ and baby Laiah. But that feeling didn't last very long. No responsibilities. No diapers. No bedtime routines. Just great food, entertainment, drinks, and the freedom to do whatever I wanted. Was I wrong for leaving my family behind?
