I flew 16 hours on BA Economy to Argentina 🇦🇷 for Antarctic cruise - How did I make it tolerable?

In December 2022, Steve and I went for an Antarctica cruise with Ponant, starting from Ushuaia. To get to Argentina, we flew with BA direct to Buenos Aires. Unlike most of my long haul flights, this one we had to fly coach as the cash price for Club World would have been the same as the cruise itself and no Avios reward seats were available. The flight to Buenos Aires, operated by an Airbus A350-1000, has a stop at São Paulo, making it in total 16 hours on the plane.
