Let’s celebrate “happy!” on the first day of the start of the 70th anniversary celebration of the Disneyland Resort! I was so excited to be there on the first day of the festivities to witness all the beautiful and joyful decorations. This celebration includes a long list of specialty foods, like the 70th celebration macaroon from Jolly Holiday bakery, as well as several merchandise items for the event. There is also special entertainment like the Tapestry of Happiness projection show on It’s a Small World, the Celebrate Happy Cavalcade featuring some of your favorite Disney Characters and (even Duffy came all the way to Disneyland!), and the new World of Color Happiness. There is an interactive experience called Key to Disneyland which was such a fun activity; to collect the sounds of Disneyland and a pin by exploring the park and interactive locations. Using your Magic Band + also sparked different locations to play music, as well as several locations where you can collect souvenir tickets. They also brought back the Wondrous Journeys fireworks, and the Paint the Night Parade! With so much happiness and fun going on in this park, I can’t wait to take you with me.
