Hi everyone, welcome to the channel! I’ve got another vid for you, this time I’m hanging with new friends I made. The Melanin Coaster Network, LLC is a roller coaster club dedicated highlighting people of color who love riding coasters. Their mission statement is, “Bridging the gap by bringing people together.” I recently discovered this group on Instagram and thought it would be a great idea to join. The group and I spent the entire day, Thursday March 30 between Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure experiencing every ride, trying different foods and enjoying each other’s company. Many members were new like myself, and were experiencing their first meet-up with the group. It was a great day full of laughs and nonstop fun. It was also educational because we got to meet multiple members of Universal’s Engineering, IT and Park Operations team and learn interesting details about daily operations and maintenance of rides like Mummy, Velocicoaster and Hagrid’s.
