I really felt like an undercover budget cruiser but I was determined to find out what all the hype was about so that I could share it with you here. From the moment I set foot in the terminal it was very obvious that this cruise would be different, our cabin came with the perk of priority boarding. I was expecting perhaps just to join a shorter line but once we introduced ourselves to the crew member at the special tent, he took our bags and called over another staff member who said he would escort us through the terminal. I’ve never been escorted anywhere in my life, and it was so much fun. Weird for sure, but fun. We didn’t have to wait at any point and only very briefly took a break for a glass of champagne in a special area in the terminal. That one is optional of course but I thought why not, if I’m going to experience this properly, I should try everything.
