Icon of the Seas: One Hit Wonders Dance Party on May 14th, 2024

Royal Caribbean sailings have long included decade parties. With each ship they've tried to do things a bit different and have progressed through the decades all the way to the 90's with the launch of the Harmony of the Seas in 2016. Unfortunately that party wasn't successful and with the launch of the Symphony of the Seas they decided to go backwards to the 80's. To try to create a new party that would be appealing to all generations and allow for both the classics and modern hits the Icon of the Seas has introduced the One Hit Wonders Dance Party. By changing from a specific decade to a type of song they've broadened the definition of what could be included. This allowed them to create a party that feels in line with the classic and always popular 70's Disco Inferno Party while touching on music that appeals to everyone onboard the ship. The entire event was hosted by Cruise Director Gemma Hugo in the Royal Promenade.
