Whale watching on the way to Ketchikan: https://www.facebook.com/CruiseByMandy/videos/vb.329212323950215/2212777019012962/?type=2&theater Icy Strait Point is a relatively newer stop for cruises and more un-touched natural beauty! They do have a cruise center there along with a ziprider for the views (not scary) and amazing king crab legs! Another nearby port? The port of Ketchikan, Alaska is beautiful area surrounded by rainforest. The town has done a great job of preserving its Alaskan Heritage, and most of the shops and points of interest are close to the waterfront which makes them a direct walk from the ship.
