I went on an expedition with Delfin Amazon Cruises, and it was a wild adventure deep into the Peruvian Amazon. In this video, I’m sharing some of the incredible wildlife encounters I experienced during my river cruise aboard the Delfin III. We used skiffs to explore the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve, where we spotted everything from adorable sloths and playful squirrel monkeys to thousands of cormorants and even the legendary pink river dolphins. The pink dolphins followed us everywhere, and I even saw them out the window as I ate breakfast. The exploring continued with a night excursion to find caimans lurking in the dark. Beyond the animals, we visited a local village, explored a unique apiary where bees build fascinating hives, and stopped by an educational aquarium to see the diverse fish species of the Amazon.
