Independence of the Seas: 2012 Transatlantic Day 13 - Nassau, Bahamas

On day 13 the Independence finally saw the safety of another harbor as she completed her transatlantic journey by pulling into Nassau Bahamas. Unfortunately the return of land also saw the return of rough seas and high winds as she started her entry just behind the Carnival Sensation. To ensure the ships safety while passing through the harbor entrance a full 360 rotation was done to feel out the winds effect on the ships maneuverability. Later in the day the Carnival Miracle and the Monarch of the Seas arrived to join the Independence of the Seas before she set off for the US.
