Independence of the Seas: Mad Hatter's Ball Parade

The Royal Promenade onboard Royal Caribbean ships act as a large central corridor to easily get from one end of the ship to the other. It also acts as the largest entertainment venue at sea with a full lighting and sound system designed to rival that of any theater. During a cruise each ship features a series of two parades and depending on the cruise director street parties may be held as well. During the November 22, 2012 Westbound Transatlantic sailing cruise director Joff Eaton held the Independence of the Seas traditional secondary parade on the 10th day, December 1st. The Mad Hatter's Ball Parade is typically is not typically seen on the short getaway cruises.
