As a woman, if we don't give ourself an opportunity, then we don't know what we can do and what we capable of doing.

When you work on land, you work as a nurse. That's the only thing that you do. But when you come here, you do your own X-rays, you run your own bloods, you run your own everything.

The fact that you can sell on ship and be able to do your job and do what you love and also get to travel around the world. That was a catch for me.

It makes me feel to see other women getting involved in the maritime industry. It creates a very warm kind of nurturing environment.
