Creator's Key Takeaways

The average age on the ship right now is 61 to 70, which is not what we're used to on Carnival at all.

There's only 430 kids on board as well, which apparently they normally average around a thousand.

Breakfast was okay. Um, there wasn't an omelette bar or anything, which I'm used to on ships.

I love getting a fresh made omelette in the morning. They didn't have that on the buffet, but it's fine.

Creator's Tips & Advice

βœ“Bring snorkel gear to take advantage of snorkeling spots in Papua New Guinea.
βœ“Plan for a relaxing day with puzzles and chilling on sea days.

About our Bacon Score methodology
YouTube Video Description↓

It's our first full day onboard Carnival Encounter and we are at sea. The waters were incredibly calm, it barely felt like we'd left port! This was our first view at the production entertainment onboard with a show called "Seven", highlighting the seven deadly sins. This theatre is actually the smallest we've had on a ship so they definitely used it well. Unsure whether this was written by Carnival or P&O, but it wasn't too bad. Dragon Lady was nice food, but nothing extraordinary. Pretty much the same food we get from our local takeaway. We ended up spending about an hour in the gym which was uncomfortably warm the whole time...I don't think they had the air conditioning on at ALL. During this cruise, I'll be showing you all the food venues and entertainment so stay tuned!
