Creator's Key Takeaways

So, it's quite overwhelming when you get off the ship in Altow because it's about 20 different tour operators.

We missed all the tours. So, just going for a bit of a walk, seeing what's around and we'll go from there.

desserts on the buffet were a little bit of a let down today.

The from what I had uh the entree, no seasoning on the seafood at all, so you really had to douse in the chili sauce.

Whoops it's day four not three! We are officially in Papua New Guinea! Alotau is our first stop and immediately there was a bit of regret not pre-booking shore excursions. There was only a handful of things to see out of town so we didn't miss out on a TON, but we did feel like we wasted the day, unfortunately. Ended up finding a fellow-guest's wallet onshore so hopefully guest services got that back to him. Good deed done for the day! During the evening, we looked at the shore excursions in all the other ports and ended up booking one in Rabaul but decided to just stick to our fins on Kirawina Island. The food onboard continued to go downhill and the service wasn't getting much better either. Met some lovely locals here so the people of PNG have definitely left a good impression on us.
