On my recent Alaska cruise, the Norwegian Encore made a call to Ketchikan on as the final Alaska port day. Just over one year ago, we were sailing on the Carnival Splendor and visited Ketchikan as our final Alaska port as well, so I was ready to hit the town and check things out! As luck would have it, Norwegian docs in a different part of the city so a bus is required to visit the quaint village. The shuttle bus drops passengers off at Cruise pier 4, which happens to be directly in front of Jellyfish Donuts. I remember enjoying the donuts last year so I just had to stop by for another taste. Instead of getting chocolate drizzled donuts, I opted for employee choice! What was it? You'll have to watch the video to find out. All I can say is that if you are taking an Alaska cruise and there's a stop in Ketchikan, it is well worth the trip to stop in for your donut, a Russian Dumpling, or one of their tasty coffees!
