Our last sea day on MSC Poesia was everything a sea day should be — trivia wins, brunch, putt putt, ice cream, a hero's tribute, whale sightings, and the majority rules game show. We soaked up every last minute of it before sailing into Victoria, Canada for our final port stop. Victoria delivered a genuinely beautiful 30 minute walk through flower-filled neighborhoods to the parliament building, the Empress Hotel, and the Canada sign — and then absolutely nothing else went as planned. Beaver Tails was closed all day for technical issues, Fisherman's Wharf was shut down, and most of the waterfront was reduced to a handful of shopping tents and food stands.
