In this episode, we will look at the history and life of one of Carnival Cruise Line's early pioneers: Carnival Fantasy. While she is a fairly dated vessel when compared to today's standards, at the time of her launch she was state of the art. Not only that, but she was the first new major cruise ship to operate on 3 and 4 day itineraries right from the start. Because of this, along with other factors, she was often the first cruise ship many hundreds of thousands of people every got to go on. The LEGO build itself actually took a lot longer than expected, and it was especially difficult finding decent reference material for how she looked in her early years.
