Creator's Key Takeaways
carnival cruise lines put out a video explaining that they would no longer require covet testing for folks that were traveling on cruises that are five days or less
it's no longer required to have testing if you're on five days or less but the problem is some of your destinations that you're going to still do require testing
just check carnival's website for your specific itinerary before you go such as the bahamas still requires testes and a few other ports as well
the rule as of right now is if it's five days or less you don't require testing unless the ports of call you're visiting require testing

I’ve been lots of questions regarding Carnival Cruise Lines new Covid testing policy. Do you need to test on cruises less than five days? Well no… But maybe yes… TESTING NOW REQUIRED ON ALL CRUISES REGARDLESS OF CRUISE LENGTH THAT CALL AT: Bermuda – You can take a PCR test 3 days before the cruise or one day before the cruise. You can do a Antigen/NAAT self test an home that is monitored or proctored 2 days before the cruise Nassau, Bimini, Freeport, Half Moo Cay, Princess Cay – You can take a home Antigen/NAAT self test that is monitored or proctored 3 days before the cruise Grand Cayman - You can do a Antigen/NAAT self test at home that is monitored or proctored 3 days before the cruise THERE IS NO TESTING REQUIRED FOR THREE, FOUR OR FIVE DAY CRUISES THAT DO NOT CALL AT ANY OF THE ABOVE MENTIONED PORTS BOOSTERS The only cruises that require anyone to have had a Booster are: Carnival Pride® and Carnival Celebration™ Europe – All 2022 departures Carnival Splendor® 23-day Carnival Journeys (Transpacific) – September 6, 2022 Carnival Spirit® 16-day Carnival Journeys (Panama Canal) – September 20, 2022 So I know this was disappointing news and I know that because of the angry attacks made by a few people accusing us of a u turn. This was of course not what we wanted but proof again that we have to abide by the ever changing rules and requirements of the places we visit. I also was told there was “ no empathy or caring” in the announcement so while we just wanted to make sure the news was clear and present I do of course have a massive dollop of sympathy for those who thought they would have no need to have their nose pierced with a pipe cleaner. So thank you everyone. This for sure will not be the last change so please do stay tuned and as always I will do my best to listen and to help. The FUN is waiting for you and I cannot wait to see you have yours. Cheers and have a brilliant day and Please can everyone share this with at least one person.
