See the magnificent glass scuptures done by the renowned American glass artist Dale Chihuly who created the iconic "Temple of the Sun" and "Temple of the Moon" as the centerpiece installations inside the Atlantis Casino along with the 20' Glass Sculpture of the "Crystal Gate" at the Casino entrance. #atlantisbahamas #paradiseisland #luxuryresort #jennifercaruso 🔴LIVE Atlantis Royal and Coral Towers Tour Paradise Island Bahamas 7/08/2026 *Temple of the Sun: A fiery, warm-toned masterpiece consisting of over 2,300 pieces of yellow, orange, and red hand-blown glass that radiate from a glowing orb, all resting on top of a replica of a Mayan temple. *Temple of the Moon: A cool-toned, 20-foot-high sculpture made of over 900 individual pieces of cobalt blue and opalescent white glass. *Crystal Gate: The structure is composed of over 3,100 individually hand-blown glass pieces that stand approximately 20' high. The components are formed into fluid, organic, ocean-like shapes, combining deep blues and greens that contrast with fiery oranges and reds to mimic the look of glowing, submerged crystals. The Resort developer Sol Kerzner originally commissioned the piece to be made of real crystals and smaller in scale. However, Chihuly and Kerzner agreed that a much larger, more monumental glass installation was needed. The Crystal Gate proved to be one of the most challenging works in the casino's collection, requiring the artist to scrap and completely redesign the piece five times before achieving the final installation.
