Welcome to our Ljubljana Vlog! 🇸🇮 In this video we're exploring Europe's Greenest Capital City! If you're planning a day trip or a city break to Ljubljana, Slovenia, this vlog is your perfect guide! We visited Ljubljana on a day trip from Trieste in Italy, and it was a fantastic experience. Ljubljana is the capital city of Slovenia and one of the nicest cities we've been to in Europe. Its central location and good connections to neighbouring countries make Slovenia very easy to travel to. We spent our time in Ljubljana walking around the beautiful Old Town. The city centre is small and easily walkable, featuring iconic tourist sights like Prešeren Square and Republic Square, both surrounded by stunning historic buildings. The lush green banks of the Ljubljanica River run through the city, lined with charming restaurants and cafés. We also explored the vibrant Central Market, Ljubljana Town Hall and the impressive Ljubljana Cathedral in Town Square. We wanted to visit Ljubljana Castle, which sits overlooking the city on Ljubljana Castle Hill and has a funicular up to it, but unfortunately, we were short on time. Despite this, we really enjoyed our visit to Ljubljana, Slovenia and would love to return for a longer city break in the future!
