Macy's 4th of July Fireworks 2026 from Liberty State Park (4K)

The 2026 Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular had to level things up to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the fireworks and the 250th of the United States of America. To commemorate this historic year the show used over 86,000 fireworks, the largest in it's history. They also used three locations with the Brooklyn Bridge, the lower East River, and the Hudson River by Jersey City. This is the first time the fireworks have been set off from both sides of Manhattan giving Liberty State Park a unique vantage point with both sides visible at once. This followed a historic day with the Sail 4th festivities filling the daylight hours with a largest gathering of international navy and sailing vessels in history along with an aerial show. As part of all the events the Queen Mary 2 was anchored in the harbor to watch everything. Some thunderstorms rolled through the nearby areas just prior to the show leading to some additional light shows beyond the New York City skyline.
