Madrid Looks INSANE From Up Here

We weren’t expecting this view… like at all. One minute we were walking through the busy streets of Madrid, and the next we’re standing on a rooftop staring out over the entire city thinking… how is this real?! Day 3 in Madrid just kept getting better. After our morning walking tour around Puerta del Sol and the Royal Palace, we met up with our friends Bill and Sue and decided to head inside El Corte Inglés — which turned out to be way more than just a department store. Nine floors later, we found ourselves on a massive rooftop filled with restaurants, bars, and one of the best panoramic views in the city. And here’s the wild part… anyone can come up and enjoy it. Cold drinks, great company, sunshine, and Madrid stretching out in every direction — it was one of those “pause and soak it all in” travel moments we’ll never forget. Sometimes the best experiences aren’t planned… you just follow the day and see where it takes you. And somehow… this day still wasn’t over. Next up we squeeze into one of the oldest sherry bars in Madrid with friends for a night packed with tapas, laughs, and way too many stories.
