We all look at why all cruises longer than 7 days have been canceled for most of 2021. As major cruise lines prepare a start up plan for cruising in 2021, they must comply with the new CDC framework for conditional sailing order, which requires strict measures for crew and passengers. This means that it will take longer for cruise lines to have approval to sail. Carnival Cruises has cancelled all cruises for January 2021 and some cruises into February and March. They will sail from 2 cruise ports, Miami and Port Canaveral. Princess Cruises has cancelled all cruises from US waters from January through March 2021. Additional cancellations were made for Australia/New Zealand and Japan. Holland America has cancelled all cruises from January through March 2021 from the US. Other world itineraries are affected into 2021. In major cruise news and a big changes to all cruises from the US, all cruises over 7 days have been cancelled until November 1, 2021. This has resulted in many cruise cancellations and cruise ship deployment changes. In this video, we talk about what the changes for cruises in 2021 mean for cruise passengers, as well as how the plan for cruises resuming is coming along.
