Vaccines required to cruise? New more restrictive protocols? New technology changing some of the aspects of cruising we love? In this video, we go through latest cruise news updates and how this will affect cruise passengers as cruises start up again in 2021. This week has been full of breaking cruise news, some controversial. That said, not all the cruise updates are bad news. News of vaccines is making it more likely for cruises to resume sooner. There are some fun, good news updates as well. In some of the biggest cruise news today, we are seeing more cruise lines requiring vaccines from crew and/or passengers. From smaller cruise lines in both the UK and the USA, requirements for cruise passengers to have a vaccine in order to cruise is becoming mandatory. Other major cruise lines including Royal Caribbean and Norwegian Cruise Line, have announced that vaccination will be required for crew returning as cruises resume. In other cruise news, we look at potential new cruise cancellations by Disney Cruise Line. Will May cruises be cancelled? Let's talk about it. In important news on new cruise protocols and potential changes to come, Carnival released and then retracted some very controversial and even upsetting (to some) changes for passengers as Carnival cruises starts sailing again. In this video we share some of the details and discuss both the expected and unexpected rules and health and safety protocols.
