Creator's Key Takeaways

It's a little bit dated if I'm honest, guys. We knew that coming on board. We know that Discovery 2 is an older ship.

Even though these ships are old and there's some faults, they will fix them very, very fast. So, Marella, well done on that one.

The room is too small to have a seating area to watch telly. You may as well just watch it in bed.

I think the storage in the cabin overall is excellent, but I think it does it is let down by the storage in here.

Creator's Tips & Advice

βœ“Bring a non-surge protected extension cable for charging devices.
βœ“Bring your own reusable coffee cup to avoid the Β£5 charge.
βœ“If you don't have a steamer, use a hair dryer on clothes to release creases.
βœ“Use the towel rail as a handle when stepping down into the bathroom to avoid tripping.

YouTube Video Description↓

In our latest video, we take you on a full tour of our Inside Cabin (Cabin 2035) on Deck 2 of the Marella Discovery 2. Join us as we give our honest, unbiased review after spending our cruise in this cabin. While we found the storage surprisingly good and the cabin crew provided exceptional service throughout our stay, there were also several downsides. We thought the cabin felt very small and was definitely beginning to show its age. In our opinion, it's well overdue for a refurbishment. We also found the layout less than ideal, particularly with the double bed configuration, where getting in and out of bed during the night was quite awkward. The sharp metal bed frame even resulted in Dave picking up a painful knock to his ankle! We'll also show you the bathroom, which is one of the smallest we've experienced on a cruise ship. Yes... the dreaded plastic shower curtain is still there, and with such limited shower space, it's impossible to avoid it! So, what did we think overall? Would we choose an inside cabin on Marella Discovery 2 again? Watch until the end to hear our honest verdict. Have you sailed on Marella Discovery 2 or stayed in one of the inside cabins?
