Marella Discovery Caribbean Cruise | Embarkation Day | Exotic Islands | Fly Cruise 2025

Hi everyone, In this week's video we start the Marella Discovery Exotic Islands Caribbean Cruise series with our travel day / #embarkationday . We start at Manchester airport and for this flight we chose to go premium for the very first time after the Maleth flight experience last year. With this we had access to the Escape Lounge and we really enjoyed our experience here. This was probably our favourite flight would you believe it? haha. Everything was such a breeze and everyone we spoke with were amazing! Once we got on board we went to our cabin to drop off our hand luggage, freshen up a bit and we did the cabin tour at this point. We loved spending time in this area and then we went to say hello to the pink llama/alpaca! We decided to get a drink on the pool deck to relax for a little while and then also saw a beautiful Caribbean sunset. It was then time to get a bite to eat so we went to Islands buffet for some food. After this we went back to the room to see if our cases were there and thankfully they were so we could unpack and get ready for the night. We did the TV show theme song quiz at the Squid and Anchor which was a lot of fun and a quiz we had been training our lives for! We saw the Duel show in the Broadway Show Lounge, we were a bit late so we were quite far back on this occasion but we thought they were all fantastic! We then headed straight over to the pool deck for the Sail and Shine party, this was a lot of fun too. It was quiet to start with but started to get livelier as the night went on, we even got dragged up to dance! haha We finished the night by watching Once Love in the Live Rooms, who again were brilliant, before getting some late night buffet and calling it a night as we were up early in the morning for Saint Lucia. This was a fantastic but very chaotic first day trying to get round to see as much as possible, we had a brilliant time and it showed us what to expect for the rest of the cruise.
