In April 2025 we boarded our first ever Marella cruise in Palma for a 7 night Magical Mediterannean itinerary. On day 4 we were docked in Civitavecchia but we decided not to go ashore and travel into Rome like the majority of passengers. Instead we took advantage of the ship being lots quieter. We enjoyed dinner in Vista, the Italian main dining room onboard, caught Andrew Browning as George Michael and finished our night with the fantastic Crew Show. Marella is the UK's 3rd largest cruise line, operating fly cruises from across Europe and the Caribbean. It is an all-inclusive cruise line, making it different to every other cruise line that we've tried so far.
