Margaritaville at Sea Islander Interior Room 7209 Tour This cruise ship is fully committed to the Jimmy Buffett vibe! We were able to tour several different cabin types and noticed that even the same category configurations can vary. We were on the 7th deck, mid-forward, and had more space than other cabins we saw on various floors. The long counter made this especially comfortable and gave more than enough space to spread out. The pillows and bedding were amazing! The bathroom was straight out of the 80's, but it worked on a beach-themed cruise. There were a couple of cons: The shower had no bar or soap holder to store our toiletries we brought. They had to be kept on the counter or on the floor. There is a charge for any type of food/beverage service to the room in the morning. $3 per item, so for a regular coffee and a decaf coffee, the charge was $6 plus service fee/gratuities. This isn't the worst cost, but they only service until 8:30 in the morning. Several mornings, I fell back asleep, so my coffee was cold because it was served in a regular teapot. The real big one is that the temperature can not be controlled from your room; you have to ask your room attendant to make all adjustments. All in, there was plenty of storage, the bed was incredible and there were 3 great movie channels to keep us enterained when in the room.
