Med Cruise P5. The "Rock" of Gibraltar. Dinner at Spellbound and the "Magic Castle Experience".

Today we visited the "Rock" of Gibraltar on the southern tip of Spain. Gibraltar is a British Overseas Territory that has a significant military history. Located at the mouth of the Mediterranean and Iberean Sea, it holds a strategic point in defending and restricting maritime traffic into the Mediterranean which is half of the worlds seaborne trade routes. Gibraltar is home to around 34k people and dates back to 1713 as a British territory and a base to the Royal Navy. Come with us as we explore war tunnels, glass bottom balconies, caves and the Gibraltar monkeys. The Sun Princess has a different type of specialty dining that isn't offered anywhere else. Spellbound is a dinner and show type of experience that is affiliated with the "Magic Castle" in the hills of Hollywood California. We have had the great pleasure of visiting the Magic Castle in Hollywood so we had to try this as well to see how much it compares to the original. The dinner was different pushing culinary boundaries but overall a good experience. Upon completion of your dinner, you are escorted to a secret door located at a different location than the dinner. Once inside it was very similar to the original in Hollywood just condensed. Without giving away too many things, you'll enjoy the experience. Is it worth the price, you'll have to try it and see.
