YouTube Video Description

After nearly two years away from my podcast, I’m finally back. In this episode, I’m sharing why I took a long break from creating content, what’s been happening in my life behind the scenes, and how I found myself waiting for the “perfect” conditions to return (and how the perfect conditions don’t exist!) Over the past couple of years, I’ve been learning how to trust my own energy and timing, especially through seasons of grief, loss, and personal change. I share openly about stepping back, resisting pressure to be “consistent,” and discovering that sometimes the most important growth happens in the quiet seasons of retreat. This episode marks a new era of creation for me. I no longer want to create from pressure, algorithms, or comparison. I want to create slowly, intentionally, and in alignment with my values and the shifting seasons of life. Partway through this episode, you’ll notice a shift in audio quality. I discovered editing issues with my microphone and had to use the camera audio for parts of it. I chose to leave it in — as a reminder that life is never perfect, and we don’t need ideal conditions to show up. In this episode, we explore: • Taking a break from social media and creative work • Trusting your own timing in a fast-paced world • Navigating grief, growth, and life transitions • The seasons of life (and why not every season is meant for output) • Creative burnout and learning to create in a new way • Letting go of perfection and showing up anyway I hope this conversation meets you exactly where you are. Thank you for being here. “In a world that is constantly busy, and focused on output and productivity, it is an act of rebellion — and radical self-love — to trust ourselves, to go at our own pace, and to follow the beat of our own heart.” - Hannah Weir. 🤍 Chapters: 0:00 - Intro 0:51 - Learning to trust my own pace 1:19 - Being intentional with how I create and share 4:00 - The evolution of my podcast 5:28 - Waiting for perfect conditions 7:23 - Life update (the last couple of months & years) 9:50 - The seasons of life 13:38 - Creating in a new way 16:26 - A new era 18:12 - Navigating audio challenges in realtime 19:37 - Breaking out of self imposed limitations 20:42 - Life will never be perfect 21:34 - Being present and focusing on self care 22:22 - Connection to nature 23:07 - Outro If you enjoyed this video, you may also like: → https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=avkWlfeEmA4&list=PLe01rPm_Srja_GWXf3SKlQoU6b2-P2Kp7&index=2 → https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kXFnRzA8nKc&list=PLe01rPm_Srja_GWXf3SKlQoU6b2-P2Kp7&index=3 → https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GVtqL8msOM8&list=PLe01rPm_SrjaIC6i1uUoSTdRi7ml-irJZ → https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLe01rPm_Srja_GWXf3SKlQoU6b2-P2Kp7 Thank you for being here.
