Hi everyone and welcome to Cruiseful. For todays video we’re going to check out MSC’s upcoming ship World Europa which is set to be the first ship in their new World Class. They are expecting to launch 3 more sister ships for this class in 2024, 2025 and 2027. As the first in this new World Class, we have a lot of high expectations for Europa. So lets see what she has to offer. Measuring at 1,083 feet long and 154 ft wide with a gross tonnage of 205,700, World Europa is expected to house 2,626 staterooms and hold up to a capacity of 6,762 passengers and 2,138 crew members. A unique aspect about this ship is that it is MSC’s first LNG propelled ship. What this means is that it uses liquefied natural gas which is one of the cleanest burning non electric marine fuels, reducing greenhouse emissions by 30%. MSC is also striving to be more environmentally friendly so World Europa also includes the latest water recycling technology to purify wastewater and has propellors to reduce underwater noise. The unique Y shaped design opens up to the 341 ft long promenade but also allows for panoramic ocean views not seen on their other ships. #msccruise #msccruises #cruises
